eldest of 5 sisters, I was her only child, and she had been a widow for 23 years, she has two grandchildren and 2 great grandsons, and a great grandaughter who died at 3 years of age . Mom now has another great grandson who was born 7 months after we lost her, she would have loved him too.
She was my mom, my best friend the anchor of my life and I was truly blessed to have had her for my mother, I miss her every hour of the day, miss her love, wisdom and gentleness. She made me the person that I am today, she was always there for me, in good times and bad, never judging, never condemning, just loving me unconditionally, If I can be only half as good a mother to my son and daughter as she was to me then I will think I have achieved something. My heart is broken without her.

Hundreds of shells on the shore together
Hundreds of birds that go singing by
